Love you, AB
Absolutely adore you, Lumineers…
Levon, thank you for some of the best music ever made…we will sing along and dance to your sound forever..
We lost a legend yesterday…Mr. Earl Scruggs…Banjo 3 finger pickin’ forever….

I finally saw Givers live this weekend and totally fell in love with this generous band.
The mesmerizing front woman Tiffany Lamson steals your heart with her enchanting voice and ecstatic drumming, while the rest of the quintet keeps you grooving…jumping…with their home grown, psychedelic-folk sound. If you are into eclectic, vocally rich, (in the words of the band) “dancey pants, indie pop love music” then listen up!

James Jackson Toth (above playing in Christiania here in Copenhagen in January) is the man behind Woodan Wand. He is a music man in the deepest sense. Growing up in a “metal” family, this New York native, Tennessee/Kentucky based musician’s americana, folk rock has completely stolen my ear and heart…along with the fact that he never tours with out his wife, Jessica and has “What Would Neil Young do?” tattooed on his wrist (not for musical musing necessarily, but for life decisions). If you are into some soulfully raw lyrics and folky layered sound then listen up…
If this doesn’t make your Monday better then…
take a moment to relax…
Music and paper (books, prints, art, texture, writings) are major sources of inspiration. Since it’s a musical kind of Monday over here I thought I would share some of my favorite sound makers ever so inspiring papery goods…
