Textbook tells one of my favorite stories of all time , Great Expectations, through fashion…maybe Miss Havisham is my next muse?!Hey you know that crazy spinster who wears the same clothes every day? That’s actually Miss Havisham from Great Expectations and it’s her wedding dress. Once jilted and swindled out of her fortune by the man she loved, she grew into a bitter old woman. She raised Estella to be distrustful of men and to manipulate them. When Pip, the protaginist, came into her midst, she had Estella test her tricks on him. She also only wore one shoe, which I probably could’ve photoshopped above but IDGAF.

Dear Paisley,
I’m sorry we haven’t hung out in so long. I think it had to do with spending a bit too much time together during our band-touring hippy days. I am really glad we are friends again, and I look forward to rekindling our bond once more…especially this fall.
